Many of you go way back to June 2017, when I uploaded When God Gives You a Dream.  I said God told me to create a web series, and I didn’t even know what that was—I had to Google it! I also said I might be crazy and nothing may come of it. But you were there, encouraging me.  And I know more than a few of you were praying.

It blew me away when God brought it all together the following year. Our little three-person team produced 7 episodes, and we didn’t know if anyone would watch when we rolled it out in 2019.  

But you were there when we premiered Season 1, Episode 1 of Cling the Series. And for the next few weeks, you showed up on #ClingMondays and went crazy in the chat, shout-typing, “Rikki, nooooo!” and hash-tagging #teamShawn and #teamVince.  It became the highlight of our week, hanging in the chat with #ClingFam.

You told us to make the episodes longer, so we did that for Season 2, which premiered in late 2019. We didn’t think the chat could get any crazier, but there y’all were—showing up and showing out, especially after that Season 2 cliffhanger!

We were ready to film Season 3, and the shutdown happened. And life happened. We didn’t release Season 3 until fall 2022. It was supposed to be the Series Finale. But the Lord moved us to hold Episode 7 and extend the finale into a Cling Movie. I didn’t know if it would ever actually happen. But I knew the Lord was in control. He was the one who “did a new thing” when He brought about the series, and He would do the same with the movie, if it was His will.

Meanwhile, you all were waiting. And waiting. And even when the Lord surprised us with direction for writing and filming the movie, led us through post-production, and moved us to submit it to festivals . . . you were still waiting.

So if you’re here right now . . . THANK YOU.

We can’t even express how much we appreciate and love our Cling Fam. That’s why we want to hold a special, private screening just for you, the ones who were in the chat, the ones who waited all these years. But this time, instead of chatting behind a keyboard, we get to fellowship in person.

You’re coming, right?? We can’t wait to watch the premiere of this movie with you, our fam.
